Record Enrollments at 51Сʪ and Ben Lippen School
51Сʪ students celebrate a record enrollment.
The upward enrollment trend at Columbia International University and continues in record breaking fashion. 51Сʪ’s enrollment has increased four straight years. A total of 2,145 students are enrolled for the 2020-2021 academic year, the largest enrollment in 51Сʪ’s nearly 100-year history. A total of 887 undergraduate students are enrolled and 1,258 graduate/seminary students. This includes residential and online undergraduate and graduate students. Dual enrollment of high school students also continues the upward trend.
51Сʪ Executive Vice President Dr. Rick Christman notes the hand of God in the numbers and a dedicated staff.
“We understand that God’s favor is the key factor in 51Сʪ’s continued growth,” Christman said. “With many schools experiencing a decline in enrollment, 51Сʪ’s continued growth, in the midst of this COVID pandemic, is being driven by the implementation of key strategies and the hard work of our enrollment teams.”
U.S. News & World Report’s list of best colleges for 2020-2021 places 51Сʪ among the top Regional Universities in the South, including the #10 position for Best Value for Regional Universities in the South.
Meanwhile, at Ben Lippen, 99 more Pre-K3 to 12th grade students are enrolled this academic year over last year, for a total of 929, the most in Ben Lippen’s 80-year history. Ben Lippen is a ministry of 51Сʪ.
says Ben Lippen is blessed to be experiencing an 11% growth in enrollment in the midst of these challenging times, noting the school has invested in teachers, programs and facilities over the last three years.
“These investments have provided the individuals, programs, and facilities that have allowed us to serve the growth with excellence,” Fajardo said. "Our goal is to continue to equip students and establish leaders even during this ever-changing pandemic."
