The Columbia International University campus is celebrating two Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) championships.

The team rolled through the reigning AAC Tournament champion Bryan (Tenn.) on their way to a 3-0 (25-10, 25-8, 25-9) sweep. The win gives 51СʪÃà their first-ever AAC Tournament title as they become the first 51СʪÃà program to win both the AAC regular season and tournament championship.

In addition, Volleyball Head was named AAC Coach of the Year for the second consecutive season, and became the first player in 51СʪÃà Rams history to be named the AAC Player of the Year.

Meanwhile, 51СʪÃÃ’s Sessions Field was the scene for 51СʪÃÃ’s first AAC Tournament Championship. Despite wet and sloppy field conditions, the Rams took down No. 4 seeded Union College (Tenn.), 2-1. The tournament win gives 51СʪÃà their second consecutive trip to the NAIA Championship Opening Round and a season record of 12-3-4.
