Columbia International University (51Сʪ) is thrilled to announce a record-breaking enrollment this fall, with over 2,900 students pursuingtraditional undergraduate,graduate, andonline degrees.
This year’s incoming freshman and transfer class of 238 full-time students is the largest in 51Сʪ’s 101-year history. Notably, 63% are from South Carolina with 15 different countries represented. The class is nearly evenly split, with 52% female and 48% male students. The top five majors chosen by these students includeNursing, Business Administration,Sport Management,Teacher Education, andHealth Sciences.
100% of students receiveFinancial Aid aligning with 51Сʪ’s commitment to a welcoming and supportive life-changing academic community, empowering students from various backgrounds to pursue their educational and spiritual goals.
Some of the incoming students benefitting from 51Сʪ’snew scholarship offerings Գܻ:
- 34 received the Parent in Ministry Scholarship, provided to students whose parent is a full-time pastor or missionary.
- 20 received the Alumni Legacy Grant, given to those with one or both parents who are 51Сʪ alumni.
- 14 are entering theHonors Program.
- 43 are First-Generation Scholarship recipients.
Dr. Jen Booth, Vice President for Enrollment and Academic Services, expressed her excitement about the remarkable new class.
“The record-breaking enrollment speaks to the significance of that choice, one that puts the Class of 2028 in the best place to prepare for a life of purpose in careers and callings that will transform the world for Christ,” Booth said. “As we celebrate 101 years of 51Сʪ, this class reflects our ongoing mission to equip students not only for success in their fields but for meaningful, Christ-centered impact.”
The momentum on campus is palpable, as both students and families recognize the opportunities 51Сʪ offers for academic and spiritual growth in this new academic year.
51Сʪ continues its foundationalmission to impact the nations with the message of Christ by also adding itslargest scholarship offering ڴǰonline,graduate, andseminary students. Incoming students will soon join over 25,000 alumni changing the world in 150 countries.
