International Transfer Students
International students who are not United States citizens may enroll at 51СʪÃà as an international transfer student. In addition to the core requirements of the admissions process, you must also: provide an International Credential Advancement Package (ICAP) evaluation by World Education Services, take the TOEFL exam, complete the educational background form, provide proof of finances, pay the enrollment deposit after being accepted and obtain a temporary U.S. visa.
Courses Eligible for Transfer
- In order to receive full credit for a course, the course must be listed on a World Education Services (WES) transcript evaluation. If the evaluation states the institution meets the U.S. educational equivalency of accreditation, transfer credit may be granted.
- Courses must be college-level.
- The student must have an earned grade of C or above. (Note: A grade of S or P may not constitute a C or better.)
- A two-hour course can meet the requirement of a three-hour course, but the student must make up the additional hour.
Complex Transfer Situations
Decisions are made by the associate provost at the college level and by the academic deans at the graduate level.
