Professor of Youth Ministry, Family, and Culture
Dr. Karen Grant joined the 51СʪÃà faculty in 2001 and continues to teach Youth Ministry, Family, and Culture courses. Previously she served as the Director of Student Activities at a public university in California (1982 to 1994) and as a youth minister at a church in Rockford, Illinois (1994 to 2001). Dr. Grant currently serves as the College Pastor at Temple Zion Baptist Church. She also serves as Vice-Chair for Bethel Christian Camp’s board of directors.
Dr. Grant enjoys traveling and has ministered cross-culturally in South Africa, Dominican Republic, Honduras, Kenya, and the Philippines. She is a major animal lover and enjoys gardening and kayaking in her backyard pond.
