Description
Ben Lippen School is seeking a high school math teacher for the 2025-2026 school year.
Responsibilities
A Ben Lippen math teacher is responsible to:
- teach six high school mathematics sections
- collaborate with other math department members to continually revise and develop the math curriculum at Ben Lippen School.
- perform any other non-teaching duties as assigned by the upper school principal.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate for the high school math teacher position should possess:
- Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, mathematics education, or a closely related field. (An advanced degree in mathematics is preferred).
- Two years of successful teaching experience in secondary mathematics.
- Dedication to biblical integration in classroom lessons and activities.
- Content mastery of secondary mathematics
- Ability to manage a classroom effectively, teach with excellence, and create an engaging, relational, and joy-filled learning environment for students.Ìý
- A clear desire and ability to teach in a student-centered, problem-based learning environment.
- Experience working in a diverse international community and strong cross-cultural skills.
- Demonstrate excellence in planning, teamwork, and communication.ÌýWe are looking for teachers who are willing to be creative, have a strong work ethic, can think "outside the box," and can work effectively as part of a team.Ìý
- Be of strong Christian faith and have a passion for serving children and families through the high calling of Christian education.
